Another chapter in the history of scented leather that inspires our Maison is Russian leather.
Originally used for the boots of Russian soldiers, this leather became renowned in Western Europe for its water resistance, durability, and distinctive scent — evoking notes of Lapsang Souchong tea, cigars, and peated whisky.
Though the secrets of its making were lost amid political upheaval and industrialization in the 20th century, Russian leather remains a lasting symbol of craftsmanship and tradition.

Soleil de Minuit

Nell Conti leathers require no special maintenance or re-scenting. However, if you wish to intensify their fragrance — or simply use the most suitable product for care — our scented nourishing creams are perfectly adapted.
